I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former twice world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
